Make-Up Class Policy

MAKE-UP CLASS

At Groove Studio, we understand that life sometimes gets in the way. While we strive to be flexible, we also need to maintain the integrity of our classes and ensure fairness to all students. Please review the following Make-Up Class Policy carefully before committing to a course. Make-up classes are a goodwill arrangement, not a guarantee, and are subject to availability and studio discretion.

• Each student is allowed 1 make-up class per 6-lesson course, subject to the Studio’s approval and availability.

 

• There will be no make-up class for:

  • Courses purchased with promotional pricing

  • Courses with fewer than 6 lessons

  • Special terms or workshops

 

• All make-up classes must be:

  • Arranged within the same term of the course or before the start of next term course

  • Requested by emailing enquiry@groove.com.sg at least 7 days in advance of your preferred make-up date

  • Scheduled early, as slots are limited and not guaranteed

 

• Students may choose to:

  • Attend a make-up class of the same or lower level for the same apparatus.

  • Attend a make-up class in a different apparatus only for non-choreography classes and is subject to studio approval.

  • Or opt for 2 hours of self-practice to replace 1 missed lesson

 

Please note:

• Make-up classes do not guarantee exclusive use of an apparatus. Students may be required to share apparatus during make-up sessions.

• No credits or replacement will be given if a scheduled make-up class is missed.

• Make-up classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• The Studio reserves the right to decline any make-up arrangement.

• Due to the limited class sizes and availability, we seek your understanding in keeping to your original class schedule whenever possible.
