How do I book a course and make payment?

  • Go to Courses page.
  • Click “Book Here” and you will be directed to our Courses calendar.
  • You can search via keyword or filter via class category to find the class you wish to attend.
  • After selecting the class, you can proceed to make a booking from there.

How do I book practice and make payment?

  • Go to Courses page.
  • Click “Book Here” and you will be directed to our Courses calendar.
  • You can search for the practice slot you wish to attend via the calendar.
  • After selecting the practice, you can proceed to make a booking from there.

What are the payment methods available?

  • PayNow
  • Credit Cards / PayPal

Where can I get my user account?

  • If you are a first time user of our website, you would not have a user account yet.
  • Simply book your first practice/course and you will receive a user account automatically which you can use for future bookings.

What if I miss my class?

  • Please check our Courses calendar and look for the class that you wish to do make up at.
  • Students may choose to do make up for any lesson of any course that students have taken before.
  • Write in to courses@groove.com.sg at least 3 days before the date you wish to do make up.
  • Students may make up for up to 1 lesson for 4-lesson courses; and up to 2 lessons for 6-8 lesson courses.
  • Students may request for make up class arrangement within 3 months from the end of current course, subjected to Groove Dance School’s approval.
  • Groove Dance School reserves the rights to refuse any make up class arrangement without prior notice.
  • Groove Dance School does not guarantee availability of make up classes.

What if I want to change/withdraw from my course?

  • For in-studio courses, please write in to courses@groove.com.sg to request for change or withdrawal of course at least 5 days in advance from course start date.
  • For course that has already started, an admin fee of $20 will be imposed if the change of course to another course/slot/next intake or withdrawal of course is effected by student.
  • For online classes, please write in to courses@groove.com.sg to request for change or withdrawal of class at least 8 hours in advance from class start time.

What if I want to change/cancel my practice?

  • Kindly write in to courses@groove.com.sg at least 2 days in advance to request for change or cancellation of practice.
  • Admin fee of 25% based on total practice fee applies for any cancellation and change, under any reason (regardless of medical, travel or work plans).
  • Credit would be issued to offset payment of future practices.

Are there any trial classes which I may attend before I decide to sign-up for an entire course?

  • We hold monthly trial classes.
  • Please keep a look our for our trial classes via our Courses calendar and IG/FB.

Do you provide private classes?

  • Yes we do.
  • Please write in to us at enquiry@groove.com.sg for private classes.

I have no dance background at all. Can I join your Exotic and Lap Dance courses?

  • Our Beginner/Level 1/Open courses are suitable for students with no dance background at all.
  • For levels 2 or above, we strongly encourage you to complete Beginner/Level 1/Open before going on to the next level.

I have taken some Pole / Aerial / Dance courses from other schools before. At which level of the courses should I continue with you?

  • Please write in to us at enquiry@groove.com.sg and we will assist you from there.

About Studio

Safety Measures for Current Phase (Updated as at Dec 2022)

:: Classes / Practice ::

  • Capped at total 8 pax at any one time in the studio.
  • Buffer time of 10mins will be included between classes for the current phase.
  • Classes and practice sessions are open for individuals who are fully vaccinated.

:: Studio Digital Door Lock ::

  • Please note that our studio Groove@Pearl is managed by digital door lock and there is no receptionist available.
  • For classes, the instructor will be around to open the door. Kindly wait at the entrance area or lounge room if you are early.
  • For practice, a temporary door code will be provided via email at least 2 hours before practice time.

:: Bring-Your-Own Cleaning Cloths ::

  • Cleaning cloths for apparatus/mats are available in the studio but we encourage all individuals to bring your own cleaning cloths.

:: Disinfect Items and Surfaces ::

  • Alcohol solution is provided for wiping down of apparatus/mats before and after use.

:: Personal Hygiene ::

  • Please exercise good personal hygiene practices such as washing your hands regularly.
  • All individuals are encouraged to use the alcohol solution provided for hand sanitisation.

:: Stay Home Notice / Quarantine ::

  • For any individual under quarantine, Stay Home Notice (SHN), or any other government-issued isolation order, kindly stay home and refrain from entering the studio.
  • If you are feeling unwell for any reason, even if you have not travelled, please do not visit our studio. If in doubt, please err on the side of caution and stay home.
  • For missed classes, please write in to courses@groove.com.sg for replacements.

:: Tested positive / Been in contact with a confirmed case / Contacted by MOH ::

  • For any individual who has been tested positive / been in contact with a confirmed case / contacted by MOH, kindly inform the studio in advance and return to class only after the all-clear is received.
  • For missed classes, please write in to courses@groove.com.sg for replacements.

How do I get to the studio?

  • Groove is located at 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace #01-01 Singapore 168976.
  • For ladies who are driving or taking a cab to the studio, please note that the GPS might sometimes bring you to an old gate of the building that our studio is at. This old gate is permanently locked and you cannot enter from there.
  • Please refer to our Location page for more information on directions to our studio.

How do I get my digital door code to enter the studio?

  • Please note that our studio is managed by digital door lock and there is no receptionist available.

Is there a changing room available?

  • We have a lounge room next to the studio room for changing clothes.

Are there washrooms and bathing facilities available?

  • Washrooms are available outside the studio room, within the same building.
  • There are no bathing facilities available.

About Parties / Studio Rental

Do you have studio rental available?

  • Yes we do.
  • Please write in to us at enquiry@groove.com.sg and we will assist you from there.

Do you host private parties such as hen's night and birthday?

  • Yes we do.
  • Please write in to us at enquiry@groove.com.sg and we will assist you from there.

Others

What should I prepare for class?

  • Pole classes: Please prepare shorts with a sporty tank top or crop top.
  • Aerial classes: Please prepare fitting clothes that cover the back of your knees and torso, such as a sporty top with leggings or long tights.
  • Exotic Dance classes: Please prepare comfortable wear such as tank top with shorts/tights/leggings.
    Please bring along dance heels or regular strappy heels if you have.
    Kindly ensure that the heels have clean soles.
  • Please bring your own water and towel.
