In this exciting Groovy night, watch 7- 10 couples/ teams compete in Salsa, Bachata, Street Cha-Cha, Exotic and Pole Dance. They will be judged by high-profile judges (who are not part of the Groove instruction team) for the top 3 positions.
To ensure nothing but great danceable music that night, we are including a Fun DJ Competition. This Fun DJ Competition that is open to all participants. More information below:
1. Contestant to play from the following music genres:
• Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and ChaCha
2. Due to the limited time available, we are accepting registration for the first 5 contestants only.
3. The judging criteria for a Set length of an estimated 30 mins are as follows:
• Choice of tracks – 30%
- A good selection of songs from the mentioned genres.
• Arrangement of set – 30%
- Arrangement of different genres during the set.
• Crowd response – 20%
- The ability to sustain crowd on the dance floor. Control the mood and climax on the
dance floor.. Ooh Ahh..
• Voting by crowd – 20%
A booth will be setup for you to vote for the crowd to vote for their favourite set.
